The 2009 reunion was held at the Centennial Park in Atwater with 36 in attendance. We enjoyed a great day outside with weather far better than forecast. The family tree bulletin board was again on display. We shared a compilation of country correspondent news of the Gauer family that was found mostly in The Republican Press of Atwater on microfilm at the Minesota History Center in St Paul. Collected income was $162. Expenses were $62 and $100 added to the Fred Marker fund. The fund now has $300.

The 2008 reunion was again a great day at Robbins Island, much the same as last year with 52 attending including several of cousin Ivan's family from Florida. The updated 2008 DVD slide show was shown. We took candid pictures of most of the attendees. Collections covered expenses of $130 plus $201 extra for the Fred Marker fund. We need another $300 to place a $500 marker on Freds Grave. We should be able to do this before the 100 year anniversary of his death.
